In the case of mild eye dryness contact lens rewetting drops are recommended to provide your eyes with the feeling of comfort, but the effect is usually only temporary. Consult the label, your optometrist or ophthalmologist before buying eye drops. He will advise you what drops are effective and long-lasting and which ones are not helpful. If the problem is environmental, it is recommended to wear sunglasses always when outdoors, because it lessens exposure to sun, wind, and dust. Foam or other seal at the sides, is recommended to have protection from wind and dust that get to your eyes at the top, bottom, and sides. Indoors, an air cleaner is quite helpful, because it can provide protection from dust and other particles from the air, a humidifier adds moisture to air providing dryness thanks to air conditioning or heating.
